Zephyros Is Going Casual

Zephyros is retiring from the raiding scene. Over these past three years, we have maintained a steady raiding schedule and had many talented members. We went through periods of struggle and periods of triumph. We shared the good times and the bad.

It was a memorable experience for everyone involved. Often, I recall times past such as the Silithus wars and the Molten Core mayhem and when Vael was a major content block due to the one hour time limit. Bugged Drakes in BWL, the first Lucifron kill, the three pack pulls at the beginning of the MC instance (two molten giants and a firelord) while most people were still in greens, and much much more. It is tempting to just scroll through the news blog and think of what we accomplished during this time.

These struggles didn't break us up, but brought us together as a group. We became a team that thought as a single unit and succeeded where others struggled. It is in that memory that I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the guild these past few years and to Blizzard for making such a wonderful game.

To answer the question that is probably on many of your minds, Zephyros and some of its members may be parting ways. Ex-members who wish to wear the tag may do so under the understanding that our Code of Conduct does still apply and that the officers will no longer be organizing raids.

Members who have stuck with us to the end of our raiding career may now be applying to other guilds. Any guild who receives an application from a Zephyros member can feel free to ask a current or ex-officer about the qualifications of the applicant.

Once again, thank you Kil'jaeden for supporting us in our endeavors, and good luck with whatever life brings you.
