Kazzak Down

While the outdoor bosses have been in the game for some time and certainly we've had the ability to kill them from the day they were put in, the prospects of 5 hours of bind rushing PVP for 3 pieces of loot never particularly struck us as "fun". So we've avoided going after them.

But today, we saw a window of opportunity to beat down Kazzak with little resistance so we took 30 people over and beat him to complete Sareille's priest epic and just for completeness in our PVE coverage.

Server First - Razorgore Down

We took a few preliminary stabs at him on Tuesday, figured out what we needed to know (despite server crashes and horrific lag) and came back Wednesday for a second crack. The lag was again ridiculous but we struggled through a few more attempts, unravelled what we were supposed to do and he finally fell.

Mini Update

Well, it's been about a month since our last update and before we go too far, I wanted to provide some insights into what we've been doing. Since the battlegrounds patch, we've been spending lots of time doing CTF. Some of our members have gotten into Alterac Valley some, but the non-stop ninjafest has kept most of us from spending too much time there. Perhaps the next patch that will change. In the mean time, most members are knights or above in the PVP standings, though some vacation time for some (like me) has knocked us down a peg or two in the short term.

On the PVE front, Rag still lives given the changes in the 1.5 patch. To remedy that we've been retooling ourselves for FR gear though we've not made any significant attempts at him in at least four weeks. I hope for that to change by the beginning of August. MC and Onyxia farming continues unabated. Apps have been getting a fair amount of gear from there lately given some the saturation levels of some classes. Obviously we're also eagerly awaiting BWL for some new content.

So on that note, we'll see you again next time something dies or something meaningful happens in the guild. :)
