Server First - Cairne Smoked

After our weekly Onyxia kill, we were feeling frisky with battlegrounds going live tomorrow (hopefully). So we decided to lay waste to Thunder Bluff and assassinate the Tauren leader, Cairne Bloodhoof.

We had only one death on the kill. There was some token pvp resistance but we stealthed in and killed him before many forces could be mobilized against us. The encounter itself really isn't much of a challenge without a sizable PVP force to defend him, but we'll take the CPs, thanks.

We didn't even know it would be a server first. It was so easy (aside from the tons of hps he has) we were sure someone else had done it before us. But the horde on the KJ forums have indicated he's never died before, so, "yay" I guess.

Domo Defeated - Rag to 54%

Well, we've finally gotten past Domo after quite a few attempts. We changed a few things in our strat that should make the feat far more easily repeatable which means we should be staring at Rag more frequently.

As the others who've come before us have found out, the Ragnaros event is amazing. The trigger is incredible and his model is absurdly well done. By far the coolest looking mob in the game.

We took a few stabs at him before some of our DPS had to depart so we decided to pack it in for the evening. We managed to get him to 54% on the third try and we're looking forward to refining our strategy and downing him in the not-so-distant future. We learned a lot and have some new stuff to try next time.
