Gnomeran Clear

Today a group of us spent a good three to four hours tooling around Gnomeran. Personally we had no experience with the zone from closed beta as the zone launched in closed beta well after we were too high a level to derive any benefit from it.

All in all the instance was full of character and rather fun to play. Tight mob densities kept us on our toes. An escort/protection event was nifty and although we were successful in clearing it, there really didn't seem to be any reward for our efforts.

Crawling into the depths of the dungeon, we completed several of the quests from IF, killed a number of named, gathered keys to the workshop and kept going down into the level 33-34 elite mobs. Given that none of us were above 29 (and our priest and warlock were 24), we were moving rather slowly at that point until we had some unfortunate long range aggro and wiped before we got to Thermaplug.

Slight edit: We picked up a few more levels and took down Thermaplug with no difficulty a few days later. Fun little encounter and zone overall. Looking forward to more fun in the next targeted instance.

Stockades/ Lescovar Cleared

The next instance in the VanCleef Quest line was totally cleared this morning by a Zephyros group. Every named in the place from Tagorr, to Dexten Ward to Kam to Hamhock and Basil Thread himself fell to our hands with relative ease.

We then finished off the quest line by beating down Lescovar and his lackeys. Yes, I know, this isn't impressive yet but we need to put something on these pages.

Tabard Bought

The guild managed to scrape together the 10GP needed to purchase our tabard yesterday. Members should purchase their tabards from the visitors centers in IF or SW. Many thanks to those who donated for the cause.

VanCleef Down

Yes. We know. It's a terribly minor victory, but we have to start somewhere. First attempt at it, no deaths anywhere along the way. With a 24 war, 24 paly, 20 priest, 23 hunter, 23 rogue. He was harder in beta when all the miners were elite mobs.

Some proverbial phat loots dropped and there was much rejoicing with our noob loots.

WoW and Zephyros Live

After much deliberation we've decided to make Kil'Jaeden (Pacific PVP) our home. Several of us played much of the day of launch with several of our people already into their teens levelwise. The guild was formed this evening with the petition process completed and we're already building a solid foundation for success with the majority of our players having experience from either closed or open beta.

We expect to begin raiding instances by Thanksgiving day. Some PVP incursions into horde territory will follow soon after.

The guild is seeking additional dedicated players with an interest in both PVP and PVE raids so please have a look at our application section if you would like to be considered for membership. It's going to be easier to get in now than later so if you're on the fence, it might make sense to be proactive.
