Part I: The Lower Spire (a summary)
Zephyros enters into the Citadel of the Lich King and fights its way through. Defeating the minions they find themselves faced by a huge flying skeleton. Easily dispatching the beast named "Lord Marrowgar" they continue to the next room...where they find a female lich in their way. Lady Deathwhisper and the fanatics and adherents that followed her were dispatched and the group continued up, getting to the rendezvous point with Muradin. After taking off they were attacked by a "Gunship" controlled by the horde, which was no match for the strength of the Alliance's cannons. upon reaching the top of this Lower Spire, we were met by no one. After a bit of time off, and upon returning, the being known as "Deathbringer Saurfang" was vanquished, with the door sealed tightly shut, Zephyros waited...
Part II: The Plagueworks
Good news, everyone! The slime is no longer flowing!
Following the breaking down of the door behind the corrupted Saurfang, and past the trap that awaits on the other side, Zephyros found itself in a large room with three separate paths. Worrying not about which path we would take first, the main concern for this crew: "can you fall into the pit?" With many people soon rushing to the ledges of the narrow walkways, they were soon jumping to the sides and finding themselves knocked back by a strange...invisible wall. After much disappointment, the adventurers found the correct path and began their slaughter of the inhabitants of this castle, on a path that had a disgusting green glow. They were confronted by what appeared to be relatives of Gluth, handily defeating them, but hearing two separate cries of dismay from their owners.
The adventurers did not end there, that night they went into the room of one hideous creation of the Lich King, a creature we would call "Rotface". After dealing with the slime, Zephyros narrowly defeated Rotface before they were overwhelmed. Those left standing revived the other members and collected the spoils that were hidden within that disgusting body. Exhausted and slowed (lolag) by the many diseases they were infected with the group decided to camp out the night and return for the other creature.
The next day, Zephyros, renewed its spirits and recovered from the illness. They then ventured back into that hallway and found themselves overwhelmed by what can only be described as...the worst smell ever. Battling through this the adventurers found themselves face to face of what must have been a creature of the same creation as Rotface. The room was filled with the cause of the disgusting smell, which caused many of the crew to become sick and vomit uncontrollably, this earned this creature the name "Festergut". Once the vomiting was controlled (to at least 1 person in an area at a time!) the creature was defeated. The group would return later for the creator of these foul beasts.
Determined to defeat this threat before more would be unleashed, the brave group set out to finish what they had started. On their way to confront this man, the group found themselves in a trap. With many bugs flying around the group thought they would be overwhelmed, but it appears that this was just some joke that was played as they were more harmless than a gnat. Upon entering the room, the professor was found working at his table, we greeted him with spells and steel. One member bravely ventured to the table of this mad scientist and drank from a flask lying there. What happened next was unfathomable, he was transformed into an abomination of his former self, but his mind was still in tact. Acting quickly he took it upon himself to protect the group from the flasks of slime surrounding the room, devouring it and somehow using the energy he gained to slow the experimental oozes we were faced. After many failed attempts at this goo slinging and explosive flask laying fiend, the members of Zephyros, the Western Wind, slayed this crazed "Professor" and collected whatever items they could find on this beast before resting, preparing for what the Lich King has in store.
TLDR: Rotface, Festergut and Putricide are dead.
