First EP God Down!

Well, we started off the night with a couple of POF minis. We downed the Omnifiend (who is quite nasty) on our first attempt with very few casualties. We were feeling pretty good about ourselves.

Off to POA for some Avatars and while we're scouting for a few odds and ends to kill next, we learned that the Fennin trigger was up. There's about 70 of us online. It's kinda late but we figure, what the hell... we'll at least learn something by trying the script.

About three hours later, all 9 named (including trigger) and Fennin have fallen at our hands on our very first attempt, only 25 days after we dropped Sol Ro for the first time (also on the first attempt). We had very little information about the encounter with the exception of some public domain data from the usual sites so we just sort of winged it. We got lucky on a few elements here and there in terms of where we happened to be fighting when certain things happened, but all in all, people paid attention and we won.

Soooo... long story short, a bunch of us have new shields and we're expecting to hear from some rivals that somehow Fennin was nerfed last patch and that's how we managed to kill it or that somehow or another, we had assistance from a friendly guild (neither of which is true of course, but whatever helps folks sleep at night is fine).

In the last couple days, we're making more progress slowly but surely. Having explored POA a bit now, we've undertaken clearing some of the Avatar rings. After a few false starts, we killed the third island's Avatar of Mist. We'll be targeting the other three in the coming days in an effort to complete our first Xegony key.

Solusek Ro is teh Dead

So to complete our EP flaggedness, we scheduled our first Sol Ro attempt last night. What's surprising is, after RZ, you sort of expect much more of a challenge from a god. Suffice to say, he was far easier than RZ was and we'll surely be adding him to our farm list. We are now a bunch of flaming flaggots with our hot Plane of Fire access. Get it? Flaming? Hot? Fire? Flags? Flaggots? Access? Oh, nm... I'm tired, leave me alone.
