We've killed just about every ring/mini in POE multiple times except for one we wiped on the boss to due to some unexpected adds as a part of the script. It'll die next time.

Weekend Haps

I was away this weekend but I figured I'd give the update on what happened anyway. Friday night all 5 Sol Ro minis were killed (I don't know the drops, no one posted them). Saturday some folks were messing around mostly on free time. People messed with LDON and a few people decided to clear NTOV for fun and to fill in some gear gaps for our apps. Sunday we dropped Rallos Zek again, this time on the first try, smooth as a whistle (still no Blades of War though). Afterward, some people went to the Plane of Earth and dropped the biggest croc you've ever seen (Tantisala Jaggedtooth) on our first try.

For Fun

For fun and flags we dropped RZ again. We again wiped a couple times and made all new mistakes, but we learned and eventually the god fell again. Melee Mask to Rhieana, Caster/Priest Neck to Bonebane. Just before this we killed the real TZ. We were most of the way through the VZ encounter but he was bugged and despawned mid script.

We also picked up another full clearing of VT on Tuesday and Wednesday. We also got Emp and Cursed in the bargain.

Hello Elemental Planes

After weeks of backflagging and getting everyone caught up to Sol Ro tower (which pretty much everyone is at this point), we scheduled this Sunday for our first attempts at Rallos Zek the Warlord's script. We knew a little of what to expect, however our expectation going into today's efforts was really to gather more information. The officers did not really expect to succeed.

At first, we had more than 100 people in the zone, with apps. This attempt happened to coincide with some of the most horrific server side lag that's hit Vallon in ages, so it was almost unplayable. We bounced our 25 apps from the zone to bring us to a hefty but more reasonable number for actually being able to move around. The lag was still playing havoc with the healing and the chains, but we could at least make some progress and learn something.

It took us two failures on the first two parts of the script before we formulated a few solutions to them. On the third attempt, we smoked VZ, TZ and fake RZ. We evaced and started preparing for the real RZtW. The fight was indeed tough and the script kept us on edge all of the time in terms of its time constraints. Any minor screwup or delay blew the encounter.

Thankfully, the crew paid attention, made very few mistakes and our DPS was solid (we had some Zek bane weaps which helped). The result?

Yep. We're the third guild on Vallon Zek to reach the elemental planes. Great work guys.

Busy Backflag Weekend

Saturday was a little quiet but on Sunday and Monday, Bertoxx, Mithmarr, Agnarr, Carpin, Aerin'Dar and a few lesser flags were picked up. Our Bertoxx and MM kills were exceptionally notable. We seem to have at least temporarily fixed our stupidity and managed nearly flawless kills of both beasts. Yeah, and drops were had by some but I didn't take notes to see what they were. I do recall a hot cloak dropping off MM for Kluts. So grats to him and others who partook of the phat lewts.

We still have a little more backflagging to do as we prep for the next steps in our progression but we should be moving forward (or at least making attempts to move forward) "soon".
