Out of Town

I've been on the road on business for about eight days so apologies for the lack of updates. I'm looking at ALL the stuff that dropped and the new things we've done since I've been gone and I'm cringing away from making the effort to input all of that stuff. I'll probably do it over the course of the next week, but there's a lot of stuff.

On the "New" front, we did the Carpin Cycle three times in the past week to start preparing ourselves for Bertoxx. We finally got another full clearing of VT under our belt. We killed more Ssra stuff and POP stuff (VZ/TZ, etc.)

Move Toward Saryn and VT

Well, we didn't quite have the numbers we needed to take out some of the Drunder bosses we wanted (TZ/VZ) so we took folks to Torment for our first raid there. After about five hours in the zone, we had downed Baraguj and the four Avatars to create our completed Saryn tower key. Not a fun task, but a big job done.

Nice POP Night

Killed 3 POP bosses and a Ssra boss on a weeknight due to some decent scheduling and resulting excellent turnout. Not a bad effort for one night for us, catching up a lot of lagging members and apps on flags. There were some other targets we would have liked to have hit, however they were killed earlier in the day before we had sizable forces on. :( We'll be doing some new stuff (or at least attempting some new stuff) very soon. There should be more to report in a few days.

Tallon Zek and some other stuff dead

We took a stab at the big ranger who's the namesake our sister pvp server. First try, he died. Not the most fun fight in the world. It's fairly straight forward as compared to most POP fights. His loot is decent enough I'm sure we'll be visiting him fairly consistently in the future. In the mean time, we got about 50 new flags for him, so our progress through POP continues. After Tallon Zek, we went and beat down Aerin'dar to flag some apps and a couple of straggler members. Earlier in the day we hit the AL because he was about the only mob that was up, and AD beat us to VT yet again (go go timezones...).

As we enter the summer months, weekends tend to be a little "slow" for us, however Sunday nights have usually been decent as far as turnout. Last night was no different so after downing the AOW and Diablo Xi Xin, we saw that Agnarr had popped. So we went to pay him a visit. He's not a difficult fight by POP standards, but a fun one. Some POP Progress and a Server First

Well, we've been meaning to get around to doing some of the Tier 1, 2 and 3 bosses we haven't hit before, and we're finally getting into gear a little. Terris Thule ate dirt tonight. Had a false start first attempt (people didn't believe me when I said, kill the adds) but we recovered and punked her the second time with almost no deaths. A little first hand experience is a powerful thing. Unfortunately, we didn't have that many people online tonight, so we didn't get as many flags as we would have liked to have. Anyway, she'll die repeatedly in the future. It's not a long or terribly hard raid and it is a fun encounter.

After TT died, I logged for an hour or so to take my wife to dinner. I came back around midnight EST (I'm PST time btw), logged in and a few people were interested in trying some stuff in the new Hate. So we mounted up our wizies and paid Hate a visit. A few ERG were in the zone, so we let their 60's come along for some fun. We came across our old friend the Maestro. He looks the same as he always has (ghey, floaty, ghey, etc.) but his encounter is VERY different. We didn't really have much information about the encounter so quite a few things surprised us. It's a fun fight if nothing else and it was touch and go in the end, but we pulled it out for what we are pretty sure is a server first.

We got 2 pairs of caster pants. For the life of me I can't find stats on them anywhere on any of the spoiler sites. Anyway, they were ok, but weren't spectactular (85/85 + decent stats/resists but no effects). Probably on par with say Archlich or Creator loot though the encounter is far more difficult than either of those. Llily got one pair and an ERG caster received the other.

An important quest piece for one of the melee range items also dropped which Kthan received.

We will have more new things to report in the coming week.

Sunday was a bit of a different story. During the day, we had people farming bits of VP and VT keys. We had some others completing epics for themselves or friends in the old worlds. We beat up ST, just because we haven't in a while and we had a couple of keyed folks in need of primal since we haven't done it in a long time. We killed several mini bosses and the lightning tower boss in BOT for a few toys while we waited for our numbers to climb to do bigger stuff:

However once we had our target number of people online on Sunday evening, we decided to do some bigger mobs to start catching our people all up to the same flag levels.
