Tunare Down


Well, long story short, this will probably be the last time we ever kill Tunare. We would never want to take the time clear the plane ourselves and we really didn't enjoy taking her from another guild who did work hard to clear it. That said, she's one of the two last big Velious mobs we'd never killed. 99% of our guild had never been to a POG raid much less a Tunare raid so it was interesting from that perspective. Her guards were a bit problematic when you don't get them singly (and you aren't expecing yet ANOTHER silencing mob) but they went down and Tunare herself is really no harder than IV aside from some adds now and again.

Earlier in the day Rhag 1, 2 and AL died. Only thing I know is that Bulvi (app) got a Tendonslicer as the only rogue present without one. I'm not sure what the other two drops were.

In an unrelated note, about 85 VT keys have been completed in the month of April at last count. Two more days until the end of the month and we should clear 90+. We also sent up a couple groups to VT yesterday to beat down an inner key mob so we have a means of getting deeper into the zone. That mission met with success as well.

Most of SSra, Burrower, AOW Down

Following the patch Wednesday, we moved on all of our hit list mobs. The first thing hit was our 4th Emp kill ever, which brought our rift total to over 100 members with rifts and over 70 completed VT keys (on track to be 80+ by the end of the April, exceeding our own goal for the month). Obviously we killed the Blood in that encounter as well. We then moved on to the Cursed cycle, AOW, HP, AL and Burrower.

Lazy

Ok, I've been lazy and I haven't updated in about a week or so. We've kept killing all of the Ssra mobs we can though last week we missed the Emp and Cursed as they spawned on Euro time. Got AoW, Tormax and a few other odds and ends. We beat up Grummus again in an effort to catch some people up on flags really quickly and there will be more POP flag work done shortly. Lots of loot has dropped (probably another 45+ pieces) and at the moment I'm far too lazy to go looking it all back up. I will say that our XtC and HP kills last night were quite disappointing as far as drops go. Smithing Hammer to Rozzar, Mage Dirk to Maegi and Grey Wraps to Aerdae off XtC. HP dropped 2 Saphire Studded Shawls for Lonelron and Silvenblossom and a Sporecaller for Willyz. Go go druids...or something.

In the mean time, shard farming continues in ernest... ETA to VT? Soon... very soon.

Ssra Ownage (2 emp kills in 2 days and more)

We continue to defend Ssra as our home and dominate the overwhelming majority of spawns.

When the servers came up on Tuesday, we killed every mob in the zone except the HP which didn't spawn. Oddly, when we killed the emp, none of the rift mobs triggered (obviously a bug). It seems that bug was prevalent across all of the servers. The GMs did a small update to the zone and retriggered the zone on Wednesday, which we again pwned a second time killing everything once again except the Cursed which spawned in Euro prime time (damn those Euros). Oh, and yes, rifts did drop off the emp the second time, giving us enough rifts to begin raiding VT in the very near future with normal raid participation. Thanks for caring. Post Emp Update

Since our first emp kill, we've obviously been working on shards for VT and continuing to actively pvp certain enemies. We've gotten a few kills this week but nothing really major (CT, AL twice, HP, etc.). I will say the HP was nice to us last week though.
